With just a few basic materials, your little ones can create a charming Christmas decoration that they will be proud to display. Plus, it's a great way for the family to spend quality time together during the holiday season.

Materials Needed:

  • Paper plates

  • Green paint

  • Glue

  • Glitter, stickers, pom-poms, etc., for decoration

  • Brown construction paper (for the trunk)

  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Cut the Plate: Cut a paper plate into three segments following spiral lines from the edge to the center. When the plate is unfolded, it creates a cone shape.

  2. Paint: Paint the paper plate green and let it dry.

  3. Decorate: Once dry, decorate the "tree" with glue and assorted decorations such as glitter, stickers, and pom-poms.

  4. Create the Trunk: Cut out a rectangle from the brown construction paper and attach it to the bottom of the decorated plate to form the trunk.

  5. Display: Display the paper plate tree by standing it on its side, perfect for a festive table decoration.
