ABOUT THE LESSON: Cat, dog, hamster, bird, rabbit, fish... These are all animals that some of us might have at home as pets. These fluffy (or sometimes scaley) little creatures teach us a lot about responsibility and how to care for something small. They also give us endless hours of fun (and cuddles). This craft engages with the theme of pets. Using just a couple pieces of paper and some decorative materials, the children will make an interactive artwork of their desired pet character. SUPERSKILLS: Imagination and Story Telling: This craft captures how much fun you can have and how creative you can be when you use your imagination. Each child will bring their pet character to life by combining their imagination and artistic skills.
