About
ABOUT THE LESSON: Basic tasting and feeling activities are great for activating tactile exploration! This lesson is all about tasting and feeling while practicing important super skills. We'll create beautiful bedroom door name boards, combining sensory experiences with creativity. SUPERSKILLS: Eye-Hand Coordination: This will be developed as the children trace their own names, place stickers along the lines of their names, and insert pipe cleaners into holes. These activities give them the opportunity to practice controlling the movements of their hands and upper limbs in coordination with their eye movements. They will learn to recognize where they need to go and how their arms and hands should move. Tactile Exploration: Taking time to play with ice blocks and engaging with what they feel and taste like allows children to experience sensory stimulation, as touching and tasting are part of our senses.
