Animal Munch Catching Game

About

ABOUT THE LESSON: Just like humans, animals also need to eat. In this lesson, we are going to explore the three distinct groups that animals fall into based upon what they eat.   Animals that eat plants are called herbivores, animals that eat meat are carnivores and animals that eat both plants and meat are omnivores.   If you are unsure as to what category an animal fits into, you can look at the teeth of the animal. Herbivores often have flatter teeth for grinding up plants and carnivores have sharp teeth for tearing  meat. As you may have guessed,  many omnivores have a combination of both flat and sharp teeth. SUPERSKILLS: Motor coordination skills. These coordination skills usually refer to coordinated movement involving arms, legs, motor planning, and timing. Playing this catching game requires good coordination skills, which can be improved through practice.
