ABOUT THE LESSON: This lesson brims with creativity, curiosity, problem-solving, and innovation. Each child will craft their own game, employing an array of 'building blocks' to construct an engaging obstacle course. This lesson focuses on fostering children's imagination. Whilst creating a maze for their marbles to navigate, the children will amaze themselves and each other by tapping into their ability to create a whole world from nothing. SUPERSKILLS: Critical thinking: This craft focuses a lot on thinking and making decisions to create a game. In this lesson, the kids will develop critical thinking skills by learning to absorb new information and respond to problems, all whilst making something fun. Curiosity: Curiosity is linked to creativity. Both of these concepts encourage mental growth in children by providing opportunities to try out new ideas, new ways of thinking, and problem-solving.
