ABOUT THE LESSON: in this lesson, we will learn about mixed media and a really great art technique called collage. We are then going to turn an already great portrait lesson and fun pet theme (who doesn't love pets?) into a talking pet video, combining art and technology! Through the free PhotoSpeak App, we will make the eyes blink and mouth move while using the voiceover that you/ the kids create. It only takes a few minutes to make the portrait come to life! SUPERSKILLS: Fine motor skills: Using the smaller muscle groups in our hands and fingers to grip by performing finger oppositions and extending and flexing our fingers during an activity. This will be seen beautifully throughout the craft whilst collaging, drawing, coloring, and then, at the end, using the App to animate the eyes and mouth of the pet.
