ABOUT THE LESSON: In this lesson we’ll get to teach the children about movement and coordination by having them create chomping crocodiles using crisscross engineering. Similar to scissors, this basic form of engineering shows kids how everyday tools and ideas can come to life in a fun and exciting way! SUPERSKILLS: Fine-motor coordination: when you use the smaller intrinsic muscle groups in your hands to perform or engage in an activity with controlled movements. This project is loaded with detailed work from measuring to cutting, designing, building, gluing, and testing out movement.
