Froggie & Crab Water Play

About

ABOUT THE LESSON: In this class, the kids will have a fun time making their own little frogs and crabs, then playing with them in a pond. They can feed them, blow them around to swim, and make them jump. They will then take their creations home to continue the play in the bath or swimming pool. This is a great craft to do in the summer! SUPERSKILLS: Sensory: The children will explore and feel different materials, from soft pipe cleaners to hard and squishy pool noodles. Playing in water is always a great way to continue exploring sensory development while having fun. Eye-Hand Coordination: This is the ability to control and coordinate eye and hand movements while processing visual stimuli that guide reaching and grasping. This will be developed when the kids play in the water, feed their frogs, and make them jump and swim by blowing them around with a straw.
