Tom's Time Machine Adventure

About

ABOUT THE LESSON: Show the kids your example craft and all of the elements that you considered and used to create your time machine (movable arms, a clock, a rotating year scroll etc.). Press the buttons on your machine, set the desired time and date and hide behind the table. Shake your time machine (still on the table) and make noises! Now pop out from behind the table with an item of clothes/ a hat/ wig or anything from the era that you travelled to and pretend to be in that era. Brainstorm ideas together and ask them to be as creative as possible and to design their own machines. What can go inside? What else needs to be added, perhaps it should be covered with tin foil or it should have movable robot arms?
