ABOUT THE LESSON: Cute, fluffy, long-eared, and hopping mad, these mammals are found in grasslands, forests, meadows, and even the desert. Bunny rabbits are popular amongst children for their fun-loving personalities and because they are known for bringing us chocolate eggs (yum!). SUPERSKILLS: Fine motor coordination involves using the smaller muscles in your fingers to perform tasks. This project involves detailed fine-motor work, from tracing, cutting, drawing, and measuring to threading and tying string. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Use what you have and be creative: Thick A3 paper Large and smaller circles are used for tracing, e.g., paper plates and paper cups. Ruler Pencil Black marker Skewer Scissors String Paper fasteners Something to use as weights, e.g., buttons or coins Craft glue Coloring supplies: crayons, pastels, paint, water in a bowl, paintbrush Decorations: foam sheet, colored paper, felt, fabric, stickers, etc.
