ABOUT THE LESSON: Can you remember Newton's 3rd law? It is the law of motion. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. See if the children can come up with examples. In this lesson we are going to make a really fun Jumping Jack/ law of motion craft! SUPERSKILLS: Problem solving: Is when you identify a problem or situation and discover a plan or purpose for an object or situation. The kids will have to do a lot of problem solving in this craft while creating their Jumping Jacks. They will have to figure out how to securely connect arms, legs, fins etc. Innovation: This craft is all about innovation and creativity.
