ABOUT THE LESSON: This interactive lesson is all about tapping into our imaginations and creating our own rockets that can blast off into space! We'll craft rockets that we can play with, providing endless hours of fun even after class! SUPERSKILLS: Auditory: This is the ability to interpret and localize sound (loud, medium, and even background sounds). In this lesson, the children will have the opportunity to interpret sound through fun games and music. Bilateral Functioning: This skill is activated when children use both their left and right hands to complete a task. The children will practice this skill first by using fine finger movements to color and paint, and then by using gross arm movements to blast their rockets into space.
