ABOUT THE LESSON: Storytelling is a fantastic tool for inspiring, teaching, and influencing. When children share their own stories, they enter different worlds and learn more about others and themselves. By allowing children to create their own stories, we're helping them exercise their imagination and storytelling skills. In this lesson, the children will make their very own pop-up books! SUPERSKILLS: Imagination: this lesson will allow children to use their imaginations whilst creating and sharing their stories with others. Fine-motor coordination: when one uses smaller intrinsic muscles in the hands to perform or engage in an activity with controlled movements.
